Youibot Robot Aris-8848 Helps Mount Everest Scientific Expedition Reach The Top!

Mount Everest Scientific Expedition reached the top

At 12:22 on May 4, 2022, the "Peak Mission 2022" Everest Scientific Expedition Team successfully reached the top of Mount Everest!

The summit is an important task of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau scientific research project. The world's highest meteorological research station will be established at an altitude of 8,800 meters to continuously monitor the meteorological changes on the roof of the world.

Youibot robot helps plateau scientific expedition

In this scientific expedition, the mobile robot entered the historical stage of the plateau scientific expedition for the first time.

Through a year of product designing and polishing, Youibot plateau scientific research robot ARIS-8848 officially joined the scientific research team and became the only robot member in the scientific research team.

Based on the technical framework of Youibot inspection robot and the accumulation of rich commercial cases, ARIS-8848 comprehensively upgrades the mobile platform for the high altitude, ultra-low temperature and complex terrain of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and integrates a variety of professional sensors according to the requirements of plateau scientific research, constituting a smart device with high flexibility and high reliability.

During the summit on May 4, ARIS-8848 was stationed at the highest point of Mount Everest Base Camp, with fast movement capability and ultra-high-definition video surveillance capability, following the scientific expedition team members above 8,000 meters above sea level in  complex weather and providing stable real-time information for the scientific expedition command team.

After the summit, ARIS-8848 will go to the Kuoqionggangri Glacier to mount the glacier detection radar to assist the glacier scientific expedition.
